Panch Pokhari Trek

This trek is an exclusively camping trek. On this trek you see Buddhist monastries, pass through Tamang and Sherpa villages to reach the sacred site of the five glacial lakes of Panch Pokhari at 3,600 meters. This is a remote and unfrequented region despite the excellent views of the eastern Himalayan chain known as Jugal Himal which include the peaks of Dorje Lhakpa and Phurbi Ghychu and its proximity to Kathmandu.
 

Itinerary of Panch Pokhari – Jugal Himal trek in Details

Day 01

Drive to Panlan (1100m.) and trek to Listikot (2100m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 02

Trek from Listikot to Laliguras Kharka (3440). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 03

Trek from Laliguras Kharka to Chormu Kharka (3480m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 04

Trek from Chormu Kharka to Bhairab Kunda (4060m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 05

Rest day at Bhairab Kunda. Stay overnight at camp.

Day 06

Trek from Bhairab Kunda to Chormu Pati (3920m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 07

Trek from Chormu Pati to Kyangsing (Giansing-2470m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 08

Trek from Kyansing to Tempathang (2320m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 09

Trek from Temathang to forest camp - Kharka (Dhuskot Khola ) 2850m. Stay overnight at camp.

Day 10

Trek from Forest camp to Nasimpati (3610m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 11

Trek from Nasimpati to Panch Pokhari (4030m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 12

Rest day at Panch Pokhari. Stay overnight at camp.

Day 13

Trek from Panch Pokhari to Hile Bhanjyang (3720m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 14

Trek from Hile Bhanjyang to Chya Chya Danda (3464m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 15

Trek from Chya Chya Danda to Kami Kharka Danda ( 2990m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 16

Trek from Kami Kharka to Syaule (1710m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 17

Trek from Syaule to Chautara (1412m.). Stay overnight at camp.

Day 18

Drive from Chautara to Kathmandu by bus.
